Charles “Chaz” Lemon is a law enforcement professional with 13 years of patrol experience with the Saint Paul Police Department, including service on the SPPD SWAT team. With experience as a field training officer (FTO), use-of-force instructor, and firearms instructor, he has developed a practical, real-world focused training philosophy.

Recognized with two life-saving awards and three medals of commendation, Chaz has demonstrated exceptional service throughout his career. His depth of experience in combat sports, including combat submission wrestling and ju-jitsu, enriches his instruction, merging physical readiness, tactical expertise, and de-escalation skills. Chaz brings a unique and proven perspective to preparing officers for the demands of modern law enforcement.
