| $499.00The Building Clearing Tactics (BCT) course provides officers with foundational knowledge of tactical movements for clearing buildings and other structures, along with strategies for teaching these tactics in patrol and operational environments.
This is a 2-day course approved for 14 Minnesota POST creditsÂ
Participants will learn to safely and efficiently search structures for suspects while minimizing exposure to threats. This simple yet highly effective method is based on techniques used by Tier 1 special operations personnel and optimized for rapid learning and use by law enforcement.
Instructors bring real-world experience applying these tactics in a wide variety of scenarios, including burglary investigations, patrol calls, search warrant execution, tactical slow searches, and hostage rescues. Experience has shown these methods enhance officer safety, reduce use of force, and limit liability.
BCT is designed for patrol officers, tactical teams, specialty units, or task forces seeking to update or enhance their clearing tactics. In a hands-on environment, participants will follow a proven progression designed for maximum retention.
