Team Arrest and Control Tactics – Team A.C.T. (11/24/25)
November 24, 2025 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
| $299.00Course Description
The Team Arrest and Control Tactics course teaches specific, easy-to-learn methods for two or more officers to safely control fully assaultive suspects.
This is a 1-day course approved for 7 Minnesota POST credits.
Law enforcement officers rarely respond to dangerous incidents alone, yet too often operate as individuals when controlling aggressive suspects. This course provides proven techniques that emphasize teamwork, officer safety, and effective subject control while reducing the need for higher levels of force.
The system is designed to integrate easily with other tactics and is grounded in basic human kinetics. Officers will learn a minimal number of techniques that can be universally applied to a wide range of circumstances. Regardless of existing skill level, participants will leave with improved ability to control resistant and assaultive subjects.
Course Objectives
Enhance subject compliance through verbal de-escalation and soft empty-hand techniques
React effectively to assaultive subjects at close quarters
Develop skills in handcuffing and controlling resistant subjects
Perform multiple-officer takedowns on resistant subjects
What to Bring
BDU-style pants
