| $699.00TRAUMA MED INSTRUCTOR COURSE
3-Day Instructor Course – MN POST Credits: 24 Hours
This advanced course builds upon our popular Trauma Med program, preparing you to effectively teach these critical skills at your agency. Developed by Army Special Forces medics and law enforcement officers with special operations experience, the training is delivered by instructors with real-world tactical medicine expertise.
When seconds count and EMS is minutes away, properly trained officers can make the difference between life and death. The national average EMS response time is 7–14 minutes, but catastrophic bleeding can cause death in just 3 minutes.
As a Trauma Med Instructor, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of:
- Equipment selection and storage
- Multi-system trauma patient management
- Advanced wound packing techniques
- Airway and breathing management
- Hemorrhage control and circulation management
- Self-aid and buddy-aid procedures
- Hypothermia prevention and treatment
- Skill-building drill development
- Realistic scenario training design
This is not a standard “first aid” course. By completion, you’ll be making intelligent medical assessments under stress while providing critical interventions. More importantly, you’ll gain the skills to effectively transfer this knowledge to other officers through proven training methods and realistic scenarios.
What to Bring
- Pen and notebook
- Aid bag or medical kit (optional)
- Comfortable clothing for scenario-based training
