Scenario Based Training (SBT) is widely relied upon by agencies to train their officers in critical skills while enhancing their decision-making process. When done correctly, SBT can be an extremely beneficial tool. However, without proper planning and execution SBT only reinforces poor tactics and techniques, and creates unintended consequences.
Upon completion of this course, students will be fully prepared to safely implement a Scenario Based Training program at their agency. Students will leave with scenario creation worksheets, sample scenarios, safety checklists, and a new found understanding of implementing the most effective training possible.

- How to identify and achieve desired training objectives with SBT
